Penny thief ... Duh

David Posman, 33, was arrested recently in Providence, R.I, after allegedly knocking out an armored car driver and stealing the closest four bags of money. It turned out they contained $800 in PENNIES, weighed 30 pounds each, and slowed him to a stagger during his getaway so that police officers easily jumped him from behind.

Call a cab ... DUH

Stupid criminal for today comes from Redwood City, California, where an unidentified 19-year-old walked up to a police car and asked for a ride. The officer asked him if he was carrying anything illegal. Our bozo replied, "Yes," before backtracking and changing his answer to "No." The officer decided it might be a good idea to check him out and he found a baggie of cocaine in his pocket. Busted! Next time he should consider calling a cab.
